The Executive Chairman of Coker-Aguda Local Council Development Area, Hon. Ogidan Azeez, has completed the reconstruction of Olamojuba Street, Aguda, delivering a modern, resilient road corridor that significantly improves access, safety, and environmental drainage within the community.

The project, executed from foundation to finish, involved comprehensive engineering interventions designed to address long-standing infrastructure challenges in the area. Key works included full drainage rehabilitation, construction of cross culverts, and extensive desilting to mitigate flooding concerns.

The road structure was rebuilt to standard, with excavation to the required engineering depth, proper subgrade preparation, and the grading of crushed-stone layers to ensure durability and long-term performance. The project was concluded with the installation of high-quality interlocking paving stones, giving the street a solid finish and renewed outlook.

Residents and business owners along Olamojuba Street expressed appreciation for the transformation, noting improved vehicular movement, pedestrian safety, and enhanced commercial activity as immediate benefits.

Speaking on the development, Hon. Ogidan reiterated that infrastructure remains a core pillar of his administration, stressing that road projects must not only be completed but must also stand the test of time.
