The Executive Chairman of Coker-Aguda LCDA, Hon. Azeez Owolabi Ogidan, met with a team from the Lagos State Health Management Agency as part of preparations for an upcoming health engagement aimed at expanding residents’ access to quality healthcare through the Ilera Eko Health Insurance Scheme.
The meeting was attended by the Council Manager, Mrs. Ogungbo-Alimi Modupeola; the Supervisor for Health, Mr. Abdulsalam Balogun; and Dr. Oyekan A.K., Medical Officer of Health at the Primary Health Centre.
Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration and developing strategic implementation plans for the enrolment exercise, which will enable more residents to benefit from affordable, accessible, and comprehensive healthcare coverage.
The initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to improving the health and well-being of the people of Coker-Aguda LCDA through sustainable healthcare programmes and people-centred governance.
