Aguda, Surulere – November 13, 2025
The administration of Hon. Ogidan Azeez has announced the completion of the rehabilitation of Irone Link Road inward Muyiwa Opaleye, a vital connector between Sanya Street and Adetola Street in the Aguda community.
The newly completed Irone Link serves as a crucial route for residents and businesses, easing vehicular movement and enhancing access between major streets in the area. The project reflects Hon. Ogidan’s commitment to practical, people-centred infrastructure under his Infrastructure for All development agenda.
Hon. Ogidan remarked that each completed project represents a promise fulfilled to the people of Coker-Aguda. He emphasised that the Irone Link rehabilitation underscores his administration’s vision of providing functional, accessible, and durable roads that improve residents’ daily lives.
He reaffirmed his determination to sustain the pace of development, noting that the project marks the beginning of even greater transformation across the LCDA.
The Council appeals to residents to allow the rehabilitated portion of the road adequate time to cure before full vehicular use, ensuring durability and long-term quality.
Hon. Ogidan expressed gratitude to community members for their patience and continued cooperation, assuring them that his administration will remain steadfast in delivering impactful projects that promote urban renewal and community growth.
