The Legislative Unit supports the lawmaking, oversight, representation, and deliberative functions of the Coker-Aguda LCDA Legislative House.
The unit provides administrative and procedural support for legislative sittings, committee activities, resolutions, records, and communication between councillors, management, and the public.
Its work helps strengthen democratic governance by ensuring that legislative processes are organised, documented, and accessible to the council’s decision-making structure.
Supporting Local Legislative Governance
The unit helps coordinate meetings, maintain legislative records, and support the processes through which community concerns are discussed and translated into local action.
